Chicago, IL

Our next leg of the journey took us from Dayton, OH, to Chicago, IL, which is a drive of about 300 miles and took approximately five hours. On the way, we drove through Indiana, where we passed the coolest wind turbine farm that seemed to stretch on forever. Once we arrived in Chicago, we indulged in some delicious deep-dish pizza, which lived up to its reputation. After our meal, we took some time to drive around the city and explore a bit. The city’s beauty was truly captivating, with its stunning architecture and skyline. One of the highlights was seeing my first Great Lake, which was a truly awe-inspiring sight. With full stomachs and wonderful memories, we were ready to continue our road trip.
