Anchorage, AK
Next, I drove to Anchorage, my final stop before heading back to Glennallen. The city was bustling and offered a nice change of pace. I did some shopping at Goodwill and The Hoarding Marmot, where I found some great deals and unique items. I also picked up a new pair of hiking boots from REI, ready for all the adventures to come.
One of the highlights was visiting the 49th State Brewery, Logan’s favorite place in Anchorage. We enjoyed an incredible meal of crab artichoke dip, bay halibut, and salmon. It was a perfect way to cap off our time together.
A bittersweet moment came when I had to drop Logan off at the airport and say goodbye. I am so grateful to have such an amazing brother who was willing to make this trip with me. He is truly amazing for joining me on this journey. His enthusiasm, support, and sense of adventure made the trip unforgettable. I will always cherish the memories we made and the laughs we shared. Having Logan by my side turned this into something extraordinary, and I know I’ll be telling stories about our cross country road trip for years to come.
With a mix of emotions, I drove back to Glennallen, excited about what the rest of the summer has in store. I can’t wait to see where this adventure will take me next!
